Most Britons Do Not Read Terms Mobile Apps


Most Britons read the terms of use when downloading an app, according to research from chip giant Intel.Of the 2,000 Britons surveyed gave 63% to not read the terms of use. 41% of this group is the main reason of lack of time. Twenty percent said the conditions make no difference because they want the app regardless of content.

The same percentage said they trust the app store in question. It also appears that young adults aged 18 to 24 years less likely to read the terms of use (65%), while older users once again check less often or an app is safe before they download it.Furthermore, 57% of Britons surveyed stated that the safety of the smartphone or tablet is not their responsibility.
