Intel: 80% Of Users Fall For Phishing Mail During Test


It is still difficult for Internet users to recognize phishing e-mails, according to research from Intel. The company has for several years are an online quiz where users see e-mails and then have to determine whether it is a legitimate message or a phishing mail.

Of the more than 19,000 participants in the test showed only 3% identify all emails correctly. Eighty percent kicked in at least one phishing email. On average, the participants scored 65.4%, meaning that on average one in four was missed phishing emails. According to Intel, it shows that more users must do their best to be able to recognize phishing attacks. On the Internet, various quizzes to find where recognizing phishing mails can be tested.
